Pat O'Brien of Momentto, British Royal Flying Corps officer, survived a 2000 foot nose dive and escape from four German planes. He wandered two months in enemy territory before reaching Holland and was briefly treated for a broken nose and possible internal injuries at Kelly Field. The War Department released a new list naming forty American prisoners of war in German camps. The full roster, sent to Berne via the Spanish embassy in Berlin, adds to 349 total prisoners comprising 133 soldiers and 216 civilians and sailors.
