Minister cites Juneteenth unity in Bluefield service
The Scott Street Baptist Church congregation heard a Juneteenth message from Rev. Garry D. Moore who framed the event as an American observance. He linked emancipation to national progress and urged inclusive celebrations across communities, noting Juneteenth’ s growing prominence beyond Texas. Bundy and Edwards cited broader spreads of Juneteenth events and national hopes for federal recognition.
