Ground breaks for Bluefield church on Cherry Street
Bluefield area congregation breaks ground for a new one level church building on Cherry Street. Pastor Larry Roberts notes miracles in fundraising from 1997's Building Fund Drive, which raised $48,916.79 toward a $275,000 facility as 100 percent church board approval marked the decision. Attendees included Conference Superintendent Eddie Wood and Bluefield city officials Doris Kantor and Rev Garry Moore.
