Graf tax case dropped after Steffi Graf agrees to payment
Steffi Graf, recovering from knee surgery, faced tax trouble in Germany as the chief prosecutor announced the investigation into her tax evasion allegations has been dropped. Graf agreed to pay about 760000 dollars to the state and to charities, with officials noting no strong evidence she personally erred. The probe stemmed from her father Peter Graf’s 1995 conviction for evading taxes on her earnings.
