Flying auto to take to air this winter from Aerocar
Aerocar Inc plans its first two place flying automobile with folding wings. The Longview Washington plant is building a prototype to rival the Airphibian from Continental and a model from Consolidated Vultee. The car seats three on the ground and converts to a two seat airframe in one operation. The design aims for performance similar to light planes and has a distinctive banjo like instrument influence in its naming.
