In Tunica Mississippi on June 11 Mrs Jacob Weinstein shot at J F Lowe, the man accused of killing Levee Board Secretary Percy B M Houston two months earlier. The shot missed. Weinstein fled with her ten year old brother in law. Lowe was taken to Memphis in grave condition as Weinstein held under deputy guard.
Norfolk reports a high authority statement that a traffic pact with the Carolina Clinchfield and Ohio Railroad will bring a large coal tonnage to the Seaboard Air Line.
