Gas prices fall across Four Seasons Country as shoppers cheer

Local motorists report declines in regular unleaded from about 1.91 to 1.85 in Pocahontas Virginia and 1.84 at a Bosseva ilva store. Clerks and residents note prices trending downward over the past week, with hopes for further drops through the summer. West Virginia outlets like Blue Flash in Princeton also reflect the price relief, as competition pushes regional costs lower. Residents cite savings enabling travel and more frequent filling up, while timing and regional differences influence the exact price.

Graham salary dispute leads to cut and possible receiver

Circuit Judge Charles E. King temporarily barred Graham from accepting compensation beyond his 99000 salary and limited asset transfers. A special receiver may be appointed later to oversee the program. State findings show Graham earned over 300000 in 2002 and about 457872 in 2003, with 297779 after cashing in sick leave. The council cut his pay from 185001 to 99000 amid contracts worth about 488665 and 4.2 million in Medicaid funding in 2003. Graham denies proposing the pay cut, noting the nonprofits employ 350 to 400 people and serve about 1200 across several counties. The statewide average for county senior directors is about 42000.
