Mexico City June 9 Within fifteen days a general convention of delegates from all parts of the country will be called to nominate candidates for president and vice president before the October 8 election. Juan Sanchez Aziona, secretary to Francisco I. Madero, may resign to direct the convention and campaign. Madero is to be nominated for president and Francisco Vasquez Gomez is likely to be the vice presidential candidate.

Hale began public life in 1867, served 30 years in the U S Senate until retirement last March. Kinle’s home is Ellsworth and he plans to keep winter residence in Washington.

After examining six coal officials the May federal grand jury, in special session, adjourned until Monday to decide if there was an attempt to create a monopoly in the coke industry. Transfer of coal and coke property valued at 17 500 000 to HH Frick Coke Co. as subsidiary of United States Steel Corp under scrutiny. No information yet on testimony or grounds for monopoly concerns.
