Swift water rescue team disbands in Jefferson County
Jefferson County's swift water rescue team has disbanded due to low participation. Fire department officials say Rawson housed and funded the unit, which included firefighters and emergency medical technicians from across the county. With only three members left, a mutual aid agreement with Washington County Maryland will cover water rescues until a new team is formed.
