Roy Thompson twenty year old Falls Mills resident died at Bluefield Sanitarium from severe burns suffered while lighting a boiler with gasoline at Maybeury McDowell County. He was helping his father Fulton Thompson subcontractor for Walton Sudduth Construction when the accident occurred. He left two brothers and two sisters surviving. funeral plans were not announced.
