WV gambling hotline director fired amid controversy
Mia Moran-Cooper, longtime director of West Virginia's Problem Gamblers Help Network, said she was fired days after alleging micromanagement by Lottery officials. She had resigned from First Choice Health Systems and flown to Kansas City for a conference when her hotel and corporate card were canceled. She told AP she went from employee with a stellar record to a non employee without a credit card. First Choice leadership did not respond to inquiries about her status.
