City Council Backs PCH Additions in Princeton
The Princeton City Council endorsed Princeton Community Hospital’s plan to seek state certificates of need for two expansions costing about 3.1 million dollars, adding 81 beds to the 215-bed facility and a 700 square foot annex addition. Hospital administrator William Sheppard cited high occupancy and demand for new physicians, with the pediatric wing expansion and a new fifth floor housing a psychiatric ward and detox unit. The council action followed a lengthy discussion on local medical office construction impacts.
