Nixon Meetings and Conflicting Reports on Campaign Strategy
The account notes high level strategy meetings with Nixon and later reports that conflicted details emerged. Haldeman's deposition claims he managed a secret 350000 dollar campaign fund for private polls for the President and that he knew of political saboteur Donald Segretti, though he refused to discuss Segretti’s operations as irrelevant to the DNC suit. Nixon expressed frustration that the Watergate story was not fully public last summer and fall.
