Ohio tornado leaves seven dead and wrecks Lake High
A tornado roared through northwest Ohio near Millbury and Lake Township, killing at least seven people and destroying dozens of homes and an emergency services building. Lake High School gym roof and wall were ripped off hours before graduation, with buses flipped and police vehicles destroyed. The storm damaged power lines, forced outages in Michigan at Fermi 2, and injured several dozen residents while investigators assessed the broader Midwest path from Illinois to Iowa.
