Princeton Mercer County Humane Society officials investigate a grisly animal cruelty case after a large long haired black and tan dog was found tied to a tree with a logging chain between Old Courthouse Road and Old Bluefield Road. The dog, beaten and head injuries with maggots in the wound, was rescued by humane officer Tim Allen and transported to Veterinary Associates for treatment.
