Suffolk Virginia 23 year old Richard Alvin Audnsey pleaded guilty to kidnapping a 10 year old near the Suffolk recreation center on March 22. The boy was found the next day tied in a Nansemond County ditch.
G W Lavender III, recently graduated from Fairview Junior High with a 97 average, will attend Exeter Academy in New Hampshire next fall on a $1500 scholarship. He is the son of G W Lavender of Bluefield.
The Boggs Specials a singing group from Port Clinton will appear at St Matthew Holy Church 1035 Wayne Street Bluefield Wednesday at 8 p.m. The group is directed by Professor Harold Boggs a blind pianist and gospel singer.
