Former Tazewell Woman Takes Own Life
Charlotte N spat 6 Mrs Alicé Scott Mayiford wife of Stanley Hord, manager for a international Paper Co, was found shot to death in her home near here today. Police ruled she had killed herself with a pistol to the head. She had been ill for some time and was preparing for a third trip to a Winston Salem hospital.
