Mining Congress Draws Large Cincinnati Attendance
A large crowd attended the American Mining Congress exposition in Cincinnati last week with about 3000 people present. Mine managers and coal company executives toured exhibits focusing on new mechanical coal loaders and safety dusting methods. Discussions highlighted machine loading limits and the continuing role of human labor, while officials noted overproduction pressures and financial strains in the industry.
