Glade Springs replaces security with private firm
Glade Springs Resort fired nine security guards and replaced them with Wackenhut Security after a mandatory meeting. Residents and some owners oppose the move, citing loss of familiar faces, while management says outsourcing is a sound decision for growth. Colleagues trained, raises had occurred, and some homeowners reported complaints prompting the change. The board criticized the resort's handling and demanded clearer notices to owners.
