Flying pyramids rise at Princeton Tourist Center site
At the Princeton Tourist Center construction site at US 460 and I 77, Structures Unlimited crews mounted the central pre fabricated skylight pyramid with a crane. Ted and Todd Boggess, architects, note the installation marks a major milestone as the three pyramids near completion and the center’s final appearance takes shape. The three pyramids cost about 197000 installed with fabrication around 118000.

In Athens on Thursday actor Denver Pyle known for Uncle Jesse in the Dukes of Hazzard joined Common Ground opponents of Appalachian Power Company 765kV Oceana to Cloverdale Virginia line. He urged alternatives to preserve valleys and questioned EMF health impacts while visiting Mercer Summers and Monroe counties. A 47-year-old Princeton man, William L. Tate, was arrested in Beckley and charged with first degree murder in the beating death of his wife, Diane Sue Tate. Floods Prompt Emergency Crews to Mobilize in Virginia
