Rumors swirl about Dr. Arthur Stellar of Shaker Heights Ohio becoming Mercer County Schools superintendent. Board member Bill Akers confirms Stellar is unofficial choice of the five, with discussions on a contract and possible changes in central administration. He denies a $50,000 salary figure and any wife’s principal post, while noting Stellar’s credentials and aim to unite the district.
