Pearisburg Eyes Draft Budget For 1972 73
Pearisburg Town Manager Dan Hickey says a rough budget draft for 1972 73 will be ready in weeks. He expects a slight increase over the current 303 000 with inflation and reassessment offsetting much of the rise. Hickey notes potential solid waste funding via a county tax or flat fee, despite legal limits. highway cost shares may pressure the budget, and Narrows faces a larger ABC tax decline.
