Faith and snakes at House of the Lord Jesus
Pastor Walford leads a serpent handling church in West Virginia where rattlesnakes and poison are part of worship. He recalls his father’s death, his own drug past, and says faith justifies the ritual though many outsiders view it as dangerous. He notes willing participation, no coercion, and reliance on scripture.
