Tour of Mercer County school bond projects touring 1979 plan
A group of Mercer County educators and citizens visited eleven school sites tied to the $24 million 1979 bond issue. Supt. John M. Hughes led the day long tour detailing completed work and upcoming construction at Melrose Oakvale Princeton High Prince, Straley Street, Cumberland Heights, Whitethorn Wade Lashmeet Ceres and the Bluefield Junior High project.
