Princeton Council Sends Foam Fire Equipment to Airport
At a short meeting the Princeton City Council agreed to make the city foam fire fighting equipment available to Mercer County Air port for emergencies. The Lilly Grove Volunteer Fire Department is slated to obtain the gear in the future and other transfer details will be arranged soon. The council also reappointed Scott Poston to the Firemen's Pension Board for four years, with term expiring May 29. They granted Lowe's Store at 103 Thorne St a business permit and Mary's Beauty Shop at 865 Mercer St a beauty shop permit. An sidewalk display ban including plants was discussed with no action.
