College news Dale five students tour Yucatan May 19 1995
Elizabeth Dale assistant professor at Southwest Virginia Community College led five students on an educational tour of Cancun and the Yucatan Peninsula during May 19. Activities included Ballet Folclorico de Mexico, visits to Chichen Itza and Tulum, snorkeling, Isla Mujeres cruise, and exposure to Mayan daily life in Valladolid. The Shuberts and Matneys hosted mothers for Mother's Day dinner at Ryans in Bristol. Bruce Long and others welcomed baby Brandon Kyle born May 16 1995. he is the great granddaughter of Chrystel Long, and grandson of Rev. and Mrs. Jerry R. Long. Harry West is ill at home. The Whitts visited relatives in Richlands on Saturday.
