Mercer County Voters Prepare for 1980 Primary Elections
Mercer County voters head to 74 precincts to select Republican and Democratic nominees and two Board of Education members. Polls run 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. with a computer tabulation expected to speed results. Names span local and state offices with contests in Sheriff, Circuit Court, and House of Delegates. Virginia-like turnout predicted amid extensive ballot listings for County and State tickets.

HUD raises mobile home loan limits under 1979 amendments
HUD final rule lifts single section mobile home loans from 16000 to 18000 and multi section loans from 24000 to 27000 with the same loan term. The changes, authorized by Section 313, apply to purchases and preserve the existing maturity period.
