Concord State Teachers College Sorority Luncheon Honors Seniors
Sigma Sigma Sigma active members at Concord State Teachers College were feted with a luncheon at sponsor Mrs. H. F. Toothman’s home to honor graduating seniors. Guests entered to punch served by Mrs. Joe Vachon and buffet service assisted by several members. The seniors received gifts from Mrs. Toothman. The last Alpha Sigma Tau meeting occurred on a lawn with a brief business session and refreshments for actives, pledges, and alumnae. A Y Club weiner roast at the pump house attracted many, chaperoned by Miss Rachel Myers and Miss Pearle Fankhouser. Attendees included numerous students. Since July 1940 the U.S. has built about 7,000 military planes.

Delta Sigma Epsilon Hosts Year End Gathering at Princeton
Delta Sigma Epsilon held its last meeting of the year in the Appalachian room at Princeton with Athens members as guests. After a brief business session, bridge and games followed with dainty cupcakes and green and cream brick ice cream. Sixty guests attended the annual senior reception hosted by President and Mrs J F Marsh at their home the prior Thursday evening with piano solos and a duet performance by Filla Nash and Mike Zulick.
