Accident kills girl in Mora pistol incident

Friday afternoon at Mora on Crane creek two girls handling a pistol believed unloaded. It fired striking Ellen Harris in the head and she died instantly. Burial held in Tazewell yesterday. Discharging Union Men Hits Huntington Street Railway

In Huntington West Virginia July 26 ten Ironton division workers and four Huntington division workers were discharged by Camden Interstate Railroad Company amid wage and union demands. Every officer of the new lodge was discharged prompting threats of retaliation and possible turmoil in street railway circles before resolution.
