Space Center Houston AP reports Neil Armstrong and Edwin Aldrin landed in the Eagle on the Sea of Tranquillity at 4 18 p.m. EDT July 20 1969 and Armstrong made the first footprint about six hours later. The manual landing left Eagle with limited fuel as Michael Collins orbited above.
