James Walker, 43, was sentenced to 186 months in federal prison for conspiracy to distribute cocaine oxycodone oxymorphone and hydromorphone as part of a multi state DTO. He forfeited 150000 in proceeds from his trafficking activity tied to Operation X Nation. Prosecution says the scheme spanned August 2017 to August 31 2019 with other members across states.

Tazewell parents charged in infant endangerment death
Kayla Nicole Stanford and Evan Ray Stanford of North Tazewell face class 6 felony charges after their four month old son died from Suboxone and Methadone poisoning. Sheriff Brian Hieatt said the April 22 case began with the infant being brought to a local hospital by the parents.
