Filing for an injunction to keep the Sesqui Centennial exposition closed on Sundays and warrants for the arrest of twelve exposition employees were issued as ministers push to enforce Sabbath closures. Judge Finleter set next Monday for arguments on the injunction and the warrants target gatekeepers cashiers and ticket sellers accused under the 1794 Sunday amusements law. The constable reported women and others refused to identify themselves and halted efforts to serve the warrants.

Engineer's failure blamed for sixteen deaths near Gray
