Attorneys Oppose Nelson Bill at Justice Hearing
Washington July 6 attorneys for individuals and corporations facing federal prosecutions opposed the Nelson bill at a department of justice hearing. The measure would let indicted persons be tried in any district without a preliminary hearing in their home district. Hungarian dies after magistrate shot during drunkenness case
A Hungarian, Pete Dardish, shot Squire H. L. Cook of Rock district at Matoaka after being fined 11.20 for drunken and disorderly conduct.
