Father Caught In Police Trap
A 21 year old Billy Joe Bryson of Chesapeake Ohio was trapped in a motel room while posing with a 16 year old Huntington girl for pictures. He refused a lie detector test and was bound over to the grand jury after waiving a preliminary hearing. Police said the arrest stemmed from an undercover trap by State Police with help from parents and the girl. Bryson had prior charges in Chesapeake for writing lewd letters to women.

CAP In Plane Search for Morgantown Man
State CAP and Police launched a tri state search for a missing single engine Cessna 170 carrying William Mucklow of Morgantown and David Fowler the pilot. They radioed at 7 18 pm last night they were at 10000 feet over Morgantown asking for weather at the airport. Weather reported seven mile visibility and a 1200 foot ceiling and the pilot said he did not want to fly through soup and headed back toward Harrisburg. No further contact has been made.

Local Man Hurt In Route 19-460 Crash
Tony Bretti aged 61 of Giles Street Bluefield suffered a fractured leg facial lacerations and leg abrasions when his 1951 Ford skidded on ice on Route 19-460 between Bluefield and Princeton. The car flipped after 100 feet, pinning him. he was admitted to Bluefield Sanitarium. State Troopers W R Dyer and H H Holt investigated.

Eloping teens elude police in fiery Toledo chase
In Toledo Ohio two 17 year olds from Fairmont West Virginia eloped in a stolen car. Deputy Joseph Becker Jr identified the driver as James Watson and passenger Judith Dallas. Patrolman Edward Wechtel tried to stop them. the cruiser crashed into a tree and burned. The youths were later held at Luras County Child Study Institute.

A milk-truck lost control on a steep Thomaston hill and struck five vehicles before hitting a bridge abutment. Killed was Felix Boucher, 63, of Newark. injured were Helen Platt, a Plymouth high school teacher, and Andrew Williams, 27, of Framingham, Mass., who said his air brakes failed at the hilltop.
