Journey into Yesterday marks Pocahontas coalfield centennial kickoff

A steam excursion train will haul Pocahontas coal and up to 300 passengers from Bluefield to Norfolk on March 17 to launch the Pocahontas Coalfield Centennial Celebration. The two-day event includes Norfolk lodging, official visits from coal and railway leaders, and a Norfolk reception. Tickets total about $150 per person with a 300-ticket cap.
