A 17 year old McDowell County youth indicted for murder hanged himself with a metal coat hanger in a Wyoming County Jail third floor cell. Orville Smith of Kimball died after telling deputies he wanted to share information with Sheriff Goode before 6 30 PM. Investigators say Smith had implicated three men in a previous janitor’s death at Kimball Grade School.
