Yesterday Squire Godhey W. M. Goings faced a hearing and pleaded guilty to making a statement admitting guilt in family mistreatment. He is held for the grand jury without bail as it convenes. The wife, mother of the mistreated children, is deceased. The children were sent to the poorhouse, with two boys aged 10 and 12 walking through snow to the facility. the smaller girls were placed in homes.
