Lone survivor moved for oxygen therapy after mine blast
Randal McCloy Jr., the sole survivor of a coal mine explosion that killed 12, was moved Thursday to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh for 1 to 3 days of hyperbaric oxygen treatment. The 26 year old from Simpson remains in critical condition with brain damage and a guarded prognosis. He had been at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, West Virginia, and will be returned there after treatment per WVU Hospital trauma center officials.
