Newman of Bluefield Virginia, son of Trial Justice B M Newman, will be discharged today from McGuire General Hospital in Richmond after a five week stay for heart trouble linked to his World War I service in the Argonne swamps. A veteran of the Mexican and World War I wars, Newman was the first Tazewell County man shipped overseas in the first war and later served as a Norfolk and Western conductor. Mrs L B Farley of the Virginia Side left for Richmond to bring him home.
