Mountain Valley Elementary opens in Mercer County WV
The brand new Mountain Valley Elementary School near Blue Prince Road held a grand opening with Gov. Jim Justice and local officials. Students helped name and design the school, which cost 12.1 million dollars with 7.8 million from a West Virginia School Building Authority grant and 4.2 million from the Mercer County Board of Education. The consolidation combines Ceres Elementary and Cumberland.
