Grant Neb Jan. 31 A junior high north Platte teen named Joe Crow testified before a coroner s jury that he shot and killed two men after the victims forced the teens to reveal the liquor hiding place. The youths had stolen 25 gallons of whiskey with a companion, hid it, and were later confronted by Axel Johnson and Babe Snyder who demanded the location. Crow said Johnson pointed a gun and Crow killed him, then Snyder was shot moments later. The youths fled to their families and later confessed. authorities said Duffy assisted in the lie and the theft.
