West Virginia tax cut moves forward with governor backing

Virginia man faces second degree murder charge in Maple Acres shooting
John William Aaron Norton 28 of Pounding Mill Va is charged with second degree murder felon in possession of a firearm and eight counts of wanton endangerment after a gunshot through a Mercer County home front door fatally struck a woman near her kitchen window. Norton held on 200000 cash bond arraignment pending. The Feb 24 incident began about 9 26 p m when Jessiea Smith at 1986 Maple Acres Road Princeton reported shots and neighbor Robert Day said a male fired inside his residence.
