Charles Elwood Mitchem 68 of Route 5 Bluefield died Saturday February 25 1995 at a Princeton hospital. He was a vice president at Neal and Associates and a Protestant. Survived by wife Blanche Tabor Mitchem daughters Judy Neal Melayne Mitchem Sara Woodson brother Dewey Mitchem and several relatives. Funeral at Cravens Shires Bluewell at 230 pm officiated by three ministers with burial at Roselawn Memorial Gardens Princeton.

Mary Elizabeth Shrewsbury 80 of Route 5 Bluefield died Saturday February 25 1995 in a Bluefield nursing home. Born in McComas she was a daughter of the late Jack and Annie Borich a former office receptionist for the Army and Navy Club Washington DC. Surviving are three sons Thomas M. Shrewsbury Robert J. Shrewsbury and Jerry M. Shrewsbury. three daughters Pat Lambert Norma Jean Hurst and Brenda McDermott. a brother Mike Borich. two sisters Millie Thurmer and Ruby Coppinger plus 14 grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm today at the Cravens Shires Funeral Home Chapel Bluewell with Rev D Homer Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park Bluewell.
