Estonian workers rescue wolf mistaken for dog on river
Three Estonian construction workers at the Sindi dam saved what they thought was a dog from the Parnu River ice. It turned out to be a one year old male wolf with hypothermia. The wolf recovered after a day, was released with a GPS collar, and Estonia hosts about 200 wolves. The grey wolf was named the national animal by nature groups in 2018.
