Nemours Parent-Teacher Association held its monthly meeting with forty members present. Miss Varnie Geordon led the program, opening with America and leading devotionals by Mia Raymond Compton and Moore Compton. Paul L. Davis spoke on heroes and Washington's Birthday. Mrs. J. M. England gave a Founders Day talk, and Mrs. Robert Blankenship presided. Qienerberry’s room won a prize. refreshments were served by Mrs. Clifford Chandler, Mrs. Raymond Compton, and Miss Varnie Cleothan, with Washington’s Birthday decorations throughout.
