Three automobile crashes on Stafford Drive were investigated by Princeton Police Thursday. One driver, Jack V. Bennet, 71, of Rt. 7 Princeton, was charged with failure to yield after colliding his 1967 Oldsmobile with Francie Ross’s 1976 Mercury. Bennet’s car suffered $400 damage and the Ross auto $1,200. A second two-vehicle crash on Stafford involved Linda L. Bray in a 1971 Javelin and William R. Gleson in a 1974 Pontiac. Bray stopped to yield to Michell Blankenship entering traffic in a 1975 Volare, and Gleson rear-ended Bray. The Javelin was a total loss. Pontiac and Volare sustained $1,000 and $200 damage, respectively. A third incident at Caperton and Thorn Streets left Brenda Sue Thomas charged with failure to yield. Claude C. Sarver suffered $350 damage to his 1977 Buick and Thomas’ Chevrolet $150.
