Allen Stuart, an wealthy young farmer, was found dead this evening in a fence corner two miles from Clarksburg West Virginia. He had been in the city on business and rode home on horseback after noon. Several gashes were found on his head and body. His horse returned home without him, prompting a search. He was eighty eight years old and married.
