Appalachian Is To Acquire Princeton Light and Power Plant
The American Gas and Electric company through its Appalachian subsidiary purchased the Princeton Power company’s electric light and power property for about 700000 dollars. Stockholders ratified the deal, with the plan to reduce rates by at least twenty percent by early April. The street railway assets were conveyed to Tri City Traction and a new holding company formed from old stockholders.

Blind mule saves lives of miners in blast torn mine
An old blind mine mule hauled a car carrying three miners overcome by after damp from a blast at Valley Camp Coal in Parkraseus. Miner Tom Justham 63 guided the unconscious men out as the mule carried them to safety before collapsing himself. Two other miners, Bert Block and John Beck, were revived at the mine while Louis Wenzel and Beck’s companion remained trapped.
