Elistrom of Bluefield is named district manager of the Norfolk and Western coal bureau at Winston-Salem N C effective March 1 He succeeds R B Williamson who will head a new car bureau in Boston Mass The company also appoints L P Harrell of Roanoke as chief clerk and Ralph L Hawkins of Roanoke as secretary to the vice president in charge of traffic March 1 start date noted Williamson previously held the Winston-Salem post since 1931 and was connected with the Jeffrey Manufacturing Co for 18 years The Boston bureau will aid retailers consumers and coal operators in the territory and Williamson will establish contacts with coal operators and sales agencies in the district
