The Sea board Air Line Florida Limited No. 10, northbound, derailed at Kingsland bridge through Bellwood plantation. The engine tender jumped the track ripping rails and ties, sending four coaches down a bank. Fourteen were badly injured, others less so, and those hurt were taken to Richmond hospitals.
